Interush engagement in natural disaster relief efforts began immediately following the devastating March 11, 2011 earthquakes and tsunamis that struck the Tohoku-region in Japan.
To aid in the relief efforts for the earthquake and tsunami victims, Interush has provided financial support by making significant donations to the “Japan Earthquake Relief Fund” of the American Red Cross.
Listed below are few relief efforts made by the American Red Cross as of February 2012, made possible with donations made by various organizations including Interush.
- Mobilized more than 161,000 volunteers and 900 medical teams
- Treated more than 87,000 patients
- Provided emotional support to nearly 14,000 people
- Supplied basic household appliances to over 316,000 people

Interush continues to actively support the “With you Japan” charity program established by Japanese IndyCar Series driver, Takuma Sato.
The program mission is to provide long-term mental, emotional and psychological care to young surviving children in Japan by working with local healthcare professionals.
Interush developed and maintains the program website and its social media websites all offered in English, Japanese and Chinese.
In addition, Interush was involved in organizing several “With you Japan” fund-raising events held at nationwide IZOD IndyCar races and an online charity auction event.
